Such a great stay, warm and welcoming host. I only had one issue and the host took care of it immediately. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee was hot which was huge for me. My first B&B stay but definitely not my last.

I arrived at the property and they didn't have my reservation, I had booked my stay trough expedia. They didn't offer to honor the price, I had paid, and no solution for my problem. Their excuse was that they had changed the hotels name and they were not receiving any reservations from expedia. Thank God expedia was able to help me and find me a place to stay.

For the price point, this is an excellent motel. The room was spotless, the water pressure in the shower was great, huge selection of channels on the TV, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I was particularly thrilled to see that they use real pillows with support, vs. the flimsy, worthless pillows most hotels use (even higher-end places). Even though it's on a busy road, I wasn't bothered at all by traffic noise. For me, the location was perfect because my daughter lives just down the road. Keep in mind, though, that it's a bit of drive to get to the more picturesque and/or walkable areas of Portland. You will want to have a car if you're going to stay here.
Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Capitaol Hill Motel again.
